Yoryina Svarna Violin
Yoryina Svarna is a Greek violinist who grew up in the suburbs of Athens. She began playing the violin and piano at the age of seven and later graduated from a music high school. Having spent her childhood summers in the countryside, she was deeply influenced by Greek traditional music. As well as her classical music studies, Yoryina studied and performs as a Greek traditional violinist in various ensembles.
Yoryina is currently in her third year of a Bachelor’s program at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She is a dedicated classical violinist with numerous solo and chamber music experience. Yoryina’s sensitivity and creativity as a musician make her approachable and enrich her work as a performer and teacher.
Her interest in different musical styles remains strong, and she is currently exploring jazz and the Scottish fiddle. Yoryina’s journey reflects her love for diverse music cultures and her commitment to continuous learning and growth in her craft.
