Tara Worrall-Hill Head of Development

Tara joined The Benedetti Foundation in May 2022 as Development Manager, and became its Head of Development in March 2024. In this role, Tara works closely with the Foundation Director, Development Officer, Development Committee and wider team to grow the Foundation’s fundraising efforts, supporting its many wide-ranging life-enhancing music education programmes in the UK and across the world.

Having previously worked in roles at the London Symphony Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia and National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain, Tara has extensive arts administration experience. Her roles at these organisations have varied, incorporating fundraising, marketing, events management, music education support and general administration. Her role previous to this focused primarily on raising funds to support music education and community projects throughout London.

Tara studied Music at King’s College, University of Cambridge, where she graduated in 2018. At Cambridge, Tara was very present within the music scene as both a clarinettist and singer. She was President of the King’s College Music Society, under the late Sir Stephen Cleobury, as well as Tours & Admin Manager for King’s Voices, headed up by Ben Parry. She was awarded the Jasper Ridley Prize for Devotion to Music at King’s College in 2018. She continues to play, sing and teach music in her spare time.

When not engaging in arts-related activities, Tara enjoys long countryside hikes and gorgeous scenery.
