Tamsyn Baker Cuddihy
Development Officer
Tamsyn joined the Benedetti Foundation in January 2025 as Development Officer, working with the Head of Development and the Trusts and Foundations Manager in fundraising to support the work of The Benedetti Foundation.
Before joining the Foundation, Tamsyn worked as the Outreach, Engagement and Development Coordinator at The Mozartists, leading on the day-to-day running of their outreach programme, reaching c. 2,000 young people per year. During her time at the Mozartists, Tamsyn was responsible for liaising with musicians, schools and Music Services, as well as managing schedules and budgets for the outreach programme. She also supported the fundraising needs of the organisation, though writing applications and reports to Trusts and Foundations and maintaining donor relations.
Tamsyn studied Music at Homerton College, University of Cambridge. During her time at university, Tamsyn developed a keen interest in Music Psychology, with a particular focus on the impact of different string teaching pedagogies on child cognitive development. Tamsyn is passionate about teaching and music education, and alongside her work at the Foundation, she is a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain’s Creative Team, delivering creative music workshops with young people across the country, and is a Music in Secondary Schools’ Trust Instrumental Tutor, teaching whole-class violin and viola lessons.
In her spare time, Tamsyn loves attending musical theatre performances and is learning how to crochet (or attempting to!)
