Simone Ciccarelli is an Italian violinist born on Christmas Day 1996 in Milan. He began playing the violin at the age of 4, and at the age of 8 was taken under the tutelage of Milan’s Teatro Alla Scala’s former concertmaster, Anahi Carfi.

At the age of 10 he was admitted to Milan’s Conservatorio G. Verdi, and at 18, he decided to leave in order to study alternative styles of violin playing and repertoire, experimenting with swing, gypsy/jazz, rock, metal and electronic music while maintaining his classical roots.

He ultimately achieved an ATCL (Distinction) qualification and an LTCL qualification, following which he was admitted to Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London where he achieved an MMus in Violin Performance with Merit in December 2023.

In the present, Simone is pursuing a Professional Diploma in Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and Dance, is involved in chamber music endeavors with Noctifer Piano Trio and his own career as a freelance violinist favoring contemporary repertoire. He is also involved with the Progressive Metal band ‘Alessandro Zancan and the Dialectical Band’, and is passionate about Music Production, producing his own music and aspiring to blend his violin playing with electronics.
