Rhianna Inwood Piano

Rhionna is a Scottish pianist, accompanist and piano tutor. She is currently finishing her undergraduate at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and will shortly begin the Continuing Education programme at RCS under the tutelage of Graeme McNaught.

Inspired by the world of opera and collaborative piano works, she finds herself drawn to playing chamber music and accompanying vocalists. As a second study mezzo soprano, Rhionna enjoys singing and accompanying, aiding her aspirations to become a professional repetiteur. Rhionna attended the Oxenfoord Summer School in 2023 directed by Malcolm Martineau and will be returning this year to expand her network and expertise.

Rhionna has a keen interest in elevating female composers. Recent highlights have included playing ‘O Love’ By Elaine Hagenberg for the International Women’s Day 2024 and RCS School of Music Showcase Concert, accompanying the BMus Vocal Department Female Choir. Rhionna is currently preparing for her final public recital, where she will be performing several romantic solo works along with ‘Morpheus’ for Viola and Piano by Rebecca Clarke, collaborating with Suzanne Godet.

Rhionna is also deeply passionate about community music, carving opportunities to share classical music with a range of local communities. Currently, she is working with Kickstart Opera Series: Coffee Cadenzas, with duo partner Roisin Linehan at the Burrell Collection. She also plays weekly services at the Kilsyth Old Burns Church and continues to teach piano privately. Rhionna is immensely inspired by the Benedetti Foundation and looks forward to future projects.
