Karina is a composer and pianist from Northern Ireland. This is Karina's second year as a Creative Learning Ambassador with the Benedetti Foundation. 

Karina obtained a First Class Honours in her Masters in Composition and Creative Music Practice from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance (University of Limerick). Karina specialises in writing Christmas choral music, instrumental piano music and musical theatre. She is also interested in composing piano music for narrative dance, an area she researched as part of her Masters Final Project, collaborating with contemporary dance students.

Karina's Christmas Carol, 'It's Christmas Time All Over The World', has been performed by the RTÉ Cór na nÓg children's choir and the London Youth Girls' Choir and a recorded performance broadcast on RTÉ Lyric FM. 

In December 2022, Karina was invited to perform at The Prince's Trust Christmas Carol Concert in Marylebone Parish Church, London. In addition to the piano, Karina plays the cello and violin and enjoys performing as a cellist with the Irish Video Game Orchestra. 

Karina is currently working on a children's musical theatre show, 'Eddie and the Alien', which she has composed the music and lyrics for. A workshop performance of the musical is taking place in Birmingham in November 2023.
