Judith Archibald
Head of Operations (Maternity Cover)
Judith joined the Benedetti Foundation in January 2025 as maternity cover for the Head of Operations role. Judith is responsible for overseeing everything behind the scenes to ensure all projects run smoothly.
Judith studied Bassoon at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now Royal Conservatoire of Scotland). As part of her degree, Judith took a module on community music, which ignited her passion of working with young people. Judith worked on various projects around the Glasgow area, as well as assisting at workshops ran by local professional organisations. Judith is dedicated to doing what she can to help provide musical opportunities for as many people as possible.
Judith has worked supporting departments at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and mostly recently was the Head of Ensembles at the National Youth Orchestras of Scotland. In her role at National Youth Orchestras of Scotland, Judith oversaw the orchestral residential courses, a role which has saw her take large groups of musicians as far afield as China.
Outside of work Judith loves cooking and trying out new recipes on friends and family. She also has a hobby of seeing how many new houseplants she can sneak in the house without her family noticing.
