Jingyuan Zhao Piano

Jingyuan Zhao, pianist and educator, was born in China and is currently a master's student at the Royal College of Music in London. She obtained her first master's degree in Music Education from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in China in 2016.

Jingyuan has more than ten years of experience in music teaching, performance management and cultural exchange. She was the concert manager of the Vienna Boys Choir China tour and the music director of a music institution in Beijing.

As concert manager of the Vienna Boys Choir, she has organized the choir’s performances in various famous theaters in China, such as the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Poly Theatres. Collaborating with renowned institutions such as the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, she organised masterclasses, workshops and other music activities for local teachers and students, whose work promotes in-depth exchanges between Chinese and Western music.

She also served as the music director at a music institution in Beijing, where she was honored as the outstanding administrator, responsible for teaching research, teacher management and enrolment management. She created musical textbooks for students of all ages, including instrumental 1-1 programmes, chamber music programmes, and music appreciation programmes. Each term she organizes concerts, parent-teacher conferences, music salons and other activities to enhance students' interest in learning and promote educational communication among parents. Her students range from early childhood to college students, who participate in the ABRSM exams and various international competitions every year.
