INTRODUCTORY STRING PLAYERS

Introductory Orchestra - Sunday 6 October 2024

Welcome to the Benedetti Sessions - we are delighted you are interested in joining us!

The Introductory Orchestra is for young people, aged 6-11, who have just begun playing their instruments, up to around Grade 1 level. You will join us on Sunday 6 October.

Watch this short video from Tutor, Stewart Wilson, to find out more about what we do in the Introductory Orchestra, and whether this is the right group for you!

In the Introductory Orchestra, we work on one piece of music which you will receive in advance, along with a tutorial video to help you prepare.

You will also be asked to take part in a creative activity in advance to encourage you to think about the story of the music before you come to meet us.

The day ends with a short sharing session to which family will be able to attend (limited seating).

Video Link: When you sign up, please add the link to a short video of your playing. This is not for assessment or audition, but helps us to support your young musicians during the weekend. This can be emailed to us after you have completed the registration form and you will be given the deadline to submit this (please see your confirmation email for further instructions).
