Eldon Bradfield
Violin, Viola, Composer
Violinist, violist, composer, and Benedetti Foundation Ambassador Eldon Bradfield is currently studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Taking inspiration from their teacher Greg Lawson and the diverse background of their peers at RCS, Eldon seeks to break the genre walls that segregate and limit music, honoring the universal nature of performance and the diversity of creative individuals and audiences. They have experience playing within many different ensemble settings and idioms, from playing viola with the Glasgow Bach Cantata Project to doubling violin and viola with Garúa Tango. Believing that making and sharing music is at the core of what it means to be human, Eldon greatly values teaching and outreach opportunities and believes every person should have access to welcoming, creative spaces throughout their lives. They see music education as not just an opportunity to teach a specific genre or instrument, but a way to give young people autonomy, creativity, focus, and community.
