Camila Valerio is a Portuguese pianist and piano teacher based in Birmingham, UK. She started playing the piano at eight years old and graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where she studied piano with Dr Daniel Tong and Katharine Lam.

Alongside studying Music, Camila studied Visual Arts in Portugal. She has since found ways to combine art with music by creating and designing educational materialfor her piano lessons. Camila is passionate about teaching and dedicates much of her time working with young musicians. She sees music and art as powerful tools to nurture creativity and well being in the next generation.Currently, Camila is a piano teacher at Progress Music Academy and Small Heath Leadership in Birmingham, and at the English Martyrs’ Catholic School inLeicester.Recently, she has become an ambassador for the Benedetti Foundation. Camila is set to do a master’s in Music Education at UCL starting in September2024
