Abigail Stinchon Saxophone

Abigail graduated the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2023and has a huge passion for music and sharing it. Abigail’s love for music began in herflourishingschool music departmentthat was full of life and part of the everyday,as well as having an endless programme of pupil lead concerts. The inspiration Abigail got from the beginning of her journey in music has only been continued by the teaching she received at the RWCMD, here she studied Saxophone with Dr Jennie Joy Porton, Lara James, and Gerard McChrystal.

During her time at the Royal Welsh Abigail gained experience in teaching and community music that has given her drive to instil the same enthusiasm that she has for music inpeople of all ages. Now, at the beginning of her career Abigail is proud to be an Ambassador for the Benedetti Foundation’s Instrumental Ambassador Programmeas she feels their values align with her own about the relationship between the music performance and education worlds. Abigail is excited to continue her journey in music through performance and education, continuing her own education alongside. Abigail aspires to keep growing as a musician and educator throughout her career.
